Torre Course at Terras De Comporta

The Torre Golf Course at Terras da Comporta opened in June 2025, quickly earning a reputation as one of Portugal’s most exciting new courses. Set in the charming village of Comporta, just an hour south of Lisbon along the peaceful Sado Estuary, the course offers stunning coastal views and a memorable, challenging golfing experience. Designed by Masters champion Sergio García, Torre Golf Course blends seamlessly into the natural landscape, with pristine fairways and García’s signature small greens.

Monte Rei, Algarve

The Monte Rei Golf Course in the Eastern Algarve is consistently ranked as one of Portugal’s top courses. Located near Vila Nova de Cacela, the course offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Atlantic. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei features wide fairways, challenging bunkers, and large, undulating greens, providing a rewarding round for golfers of all levels. Quinta Do Lago South, Algarve

Quinta do Lago South is one of Portugal’s most celebrated courses, renowned for its challenging layout, immaculate conditioning, and fast, true greens. Opened in 1986 and consistently ranked among the Algarve’s best, it has hosted numerous professional tournaments, including the Portuguese Open. The course features wide, strategically bunkered fairways, water hazards that come into play on multiple holes, and multi-tiered greens that demand accuracy and thoughtful course management. The Dunas Golf Course at Terras da Comporta opened in 2025 and is a modern, strategically designed layout set among natural sand dunes and pine forests. Designed by David McLay-Kidd, the course requires careful tee placement on most holes, with fairways that slope subtly toward well-protected greens. Several holes incorporate natural water hazards, wide but contoured fairways, and undulating greens, demanding precise approaches and thoughtful club selection. Its routing and use of Comporta’s distinctive coastal landscape make Dunas a standout in Portuguese golf, offering a link-style challenge unlike anything else in the region.
